Chelsea to pay €30M for teen Lyon footballer

Chelsea will acquire Lyon's French defender Malo Gusto, reports The Athletic.

The English club will pay €30 million for the 19-year-old’s transfer.

But Gusto will continue to play on loan in Lyon, and he will move to Chelsea in the summer.

Gusto is from the Lyon football academy, and a player of the French U21 national team.

In the current French Ligue 1 season, he has made one assist in 15 appearances so far.
