Australian Open: Khachanov loses to Tsitsipas in semifinals

Men’s 20th ranked player in the world, Karen Khachanov (Russia) could not reach the finals of the Australian Open.

The Muscovite Armenian tennis player competed with the world's fourth ranked Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece) in the semifinals and lost in four sets.

The opponent of Tsitsipas in the final will be the winner of the semifinal clash between Novak Djokovic (Serbia) and Tommy Paul (USA).

Karen Khachanov had reached the semifinals of the Australian Open for the first time.

And Stefano Tsitsipas will play for the first time in the Australian Open final, which is slated for Sunday.

The prize fund of the Australian Open is $51.3 million.
