Copa del Rey: Real defeat Atletico in extra time

Real Madrid hosted Atletico Madrid and won 3-1 in extra time in the quarterfinals of Copa del Rey (Spanish Cup).

The regular time had ended in a 1-1 draw.

Real have reached the semifinals of this football tournament.

In the first three matches of the Copa del Rey quarterfinals, Barcelona had beaten Real Sociedad 1-0, Osasuna had defeated Sevilla 2-1 in extra time, and Athletic Bilbao had beaten Valencia 3-1.
