In the 10th round of the Tata Steel Masters chess tournament in Wijk aan Zee, former Armenian national team leader Levon Aronian (USA) drew with black pieces against Richard Rapport (Romania) and shares 5-6 places with 5.5 points.

World Champion Magnus Carlsen defeated Parham Maghsoodloo (Iran), and with 6 points is in third place.

Nodirbek Abdusattorov of Uzbekistan is the sole leader, with 7 points.
