AusOpen: Karen Khachanov advances to the third round

Russian Karen Khachanov advanced to the third round of the Australian Open. Khachanov beat Jason Kubler of Australia 6-4, 5-7, 6-4, 6-3. The match lasted 2 hours and 53 minutes.

In the third round, Khachanov will face American Francis Tiafoe.

The Australian Open prize fund is $51.3 million.
