Premier League: Chelsea beat Crystal Palace, Newcastle defeat Fulham

Newcastle United played host to Fulham and won 1-0 in the 20th round of the English Premier League.

Newcastle (19 games) is third, with 38 points, in the current Premier League standings. Fourth place Manchester United (18 games) have the same number of points. And Fulham (20 games) are sixth, with 31 points.

Separately, Chelsea hosted Crystal Palace and also won 1-0.

Chelsea (19 games) are tenth, with 28 points, and Crystal Palace (18 games) are twelfth, with 22 points.
