World Championship: Elina Danielyan takes 11th place

Elina Danielyan, leader of the Armenian women's chess team, took 11th place at the women's world rapid chess championship that ended in Almaty. She scored 7 points out of 11 possible, separating 10th to 23rd places. She is 11th by an additional indicator.

Other representatives of Armenia were Lilit Mkrtchyan (38th) and Susanna Gaboyan (42nd). Mariam Mkrtchyan is 49th with 5.5 points.

Chinese Tan Zhongyi won the title of champion with 8.5 points. Dinara Saduakassova of Kazakhstan took second place with the same number of points.

The World Blitz Championship starts on December 29.
