World Championship: Armenian chess players results after 5 rounds
20:43 26 December, 2022After 5 rounds of the World Rapid Chess Championship in Almaty, Armenian representatives Hayk Martirosyan, Samvel Ter-Sahakyan, Shant Sargsyan and Manuel Petrosyan have gained 3.5 points each. They share the 15th-37th places.
Zaven Andriasyan and Gabriel Sargsyan scored 2.5 points each, Mamikon Gharibian and Tigran Petrosian - 2 points, Tigran Harutyunyan and Robert Hovhannisyan - 1.5 points each.
In the women's tournament, Elina Danielyan has 3.5 points after 4 rounds and shares 2-6 places. Mariam Mkrtchyan had 2.5 points, Lilit Mkrtchyan - 2, Susanna Gaboyan - 1.
