CBS reporter dies during Netherlands vs. Argentina World Cup match
12:26 10 December, 2022CBS journalist Grant Wahl died during the Netherlands vs. Argentina quarterfinal match at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the press service of the United States Soccer Federation reported, and extended condolences.
During the extra time of the aforesaid match, Wahl lost consciousness in the stadium and was taken to a hospital, but his life could not be saved.
Wahl’s brother announced in a post on social media that his brother had no health issues and blamed the Qatari authorities.
He noted that his brother had received threats from Qatar.
