Gavi is second youngest player in World Cup playoff history after Pele

Spain and Barcelona midfielder Gavi became the second youngest player in World Cup playoff history after Brazilian Pele. Spain faced Morocco in the 1/8 finals. Gavi entered the field from the first minutes at the age of 18 years and 123 days.

Pele took part in the first playoff game of the 1958 World Cup at the age of 17 years and 249 days, writes Opta.
