Uruguay and Valencia forward Edinson Cavani, 35, punched and toppled the VAR monitor while going to the dressing room after Uruguay's 2-0 win against Ghana in the third—and last—round of the group stage at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Uruguay did not qualify for the Round of 16 from Group H.

South Korea, which defeated group winners Portugal by a score of 2-1, finished second in this group.

South Korea and Uruguay both amassed 4 points each Group H, but the Uruguayans conceded on goal difference.
