Ronaldo says he touched ball
15:31 29 November, 2022Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo, 37, expressed on live TV that he touched the ball with his head after midfielder Bruno Fernandes's cross in the match against Uruguay, O Jogo reports.
The official FIFA website first registered the goal opposite Ronaldo's name, but then changed it to Fernandez as the scorer.
The Portuguese Football Federation will ask FIFA to discuss the issue and request an official clarification.
Fernandes scored Portugal's second goal. Portugal beat Uruguay 2-0 to advance to the 1/8 finals.
