Spain and Germany clashed in the second round of the group stage at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and played to a 1-1 draw.
Spain opened the score in the 62nd minute by way of Atletico Madrid forward Alvaro Morata, 30.
And Germany drew level in the 83rd minute through Werder Bremen striker Niclas Fullkrug, 29.
Spain top the current Group E standings, with 4 points and a goal difference of 8-1. Japan and Costa Rica are second and third, respectively, with 3 points each. Germany, on the other hand, are last, with just 1 point.
In the third—and last—round on December 1, Spain will face Japan, and Germany—Costa Rica.
