Injured Benzema to get medal if France finish in top 3 at 2022 World Cup

Injured players of the French national team, Karim Benzema and Lucas Hernandez, will also receive medals if the squad reaches the final or wins bronze medals at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, RMC Sport reports.

Accordingly, FIFA will present 26 medals to the French Football Federation based on the number of players on the France squad list for the 2022 World Cup.

After two straight wins in the group stage, France have become the first to qualify for the Round of 16 at the World Cup in Qatar.
