Legendary Russian figure skater Alexander Gorshkov dies

The legendary Russian figure skater Alexander Gorshkov, who served as president of the Russian Figure Skating Federation since 2010, has died at 76, writes championat.com.

Alexander Gorshkov and Lyudmila Pakhomova won the 1976 Olympic Games in Innsbruck. They are also six-time world champions and six-time European champions.

The pair made the decision to end their careers in 1977.
