Roberto Martinez names 8 contenders for World Cup

Roberto Martinez, head coach of Belgian team, refused to name one favorite for the World Cup, which begins Nov. 20 in Qatar.

There are eight contenders for the World Cup: Belgium, France, Croatia, England, Spain, Germany, Argentina and Brazil. There is no one favorite, Roberto Martinez said, AS reported.

In the group stage of the World Cup opponents of the Belgian national team will be teams of Canada, Morocco and Croatia. The Belgians will face the Canadians in the first match on November 23.
