Luis Enrique: I am best coach on face of earth
00:22 12 November, 2022Luis Enrique, the head coach of the Spanish national football team, believes that he is the best manager the world.
"How can I doubt myself? I am the best coach on the face of the earth," Enrique told a news conference on Friday, Reuters reported. "If I have to convince my players I have to be convinced myself... There is no better coach than me. I know it's not true, but I believe it. Doubts? None!"
Enrique on Friday announced Spain's squad list for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. But defender Sergio Ramos, midfielder Thiago Alcantara, and goalkeeper David De Gea were not called for international duty.
In the group stage of the World Cup, Spain's opponents will be Germany, Japan, and Costa Rica.
