Eight Armenian sambo wrestlers to participate in World Championship

Armenia will have eight participants at the Sambo World Championship, which begins November 11 in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, according to the news agency of the National Olympic Committee.

Sports Sambo: Tigran Kirakosyan (58kg), Maksim Manukyan (64kg), Karlen Mahinyan (71kg), Aleksan Stepanyan (79kg), David Grigoryan (88kg), Arsen Khanjyan (98kg).

Combat Sambo: Avetik Poghosyan (79 kg), Arman Avanesyan (98 kg).

The team will be led by coaches Vovik Khojayan and Ernest Mirzoyan. Azat Andryan is on the judging committee.
