Borussia Dortmund and German national team midfielder Marco Reus, 33, will not be able to participate in the World Cup, which starts in Qatar on November 20, due to injury, Sky Sport Deutschland reports.

Marco Reus suffered a foot injury on September 17 in a match against Schalke (1-0), but has not yet recovered. He will be replaced by Youssoufa Moukoko, a 17-year-old Borussia Dortmund player.

Marco Reus also missed 2014 because of injury, the World Cup and Euro 2016, and declined to participate in Euro 2020 because of fatigue.
