Milan reach Champions League playoffs for first time in 9 years

AC Milan will play in the Champions League playoffs for the first time since the 2013/2014 season.

Stefano Pioli's team finished second in Group E.

In 2014, Milan lost in the first round of the playoffs to Atletico Madrid (0-1, 1-4).

Last season, Milan failed to qualify for the Champions League group stage.
