Champions League: Mbappe breaks Messi's record

PSG striker Kylian Mbappe became the youngest player to score 40 goals in the Champions League. He achieved the feat at the age of 23 years and 317 days, according to the Champions League tweet.

Mbappe broke the record of his teammate, 35-year-old forward Lionel Messi. The Argentine scored 40 goals in the Champions League at age 24 and 130 days.

PSG defeated Juventus 2-1 in the last round of the group stage with Mbappe opening the scoring in the 13th minute.
