Masters: Novak Djokovic's winning start

Novak Djokovic, a 21-time Grand Slam champion, started the Paris Masters tournament with a victory.

Djokovic competed against American Maxime Cressy and won in two sets, 7-6 (7-1), 6-4. The battle lasted 1 hour and 44 minutes.

Djokovic will play the winner of the quarterfinals between Russian Karen Khachanov and Swiss Marc-Andrea Huesler.

The prize fund of the Paris Masters is 5.4 million euros.
