Conference League: Pyunik stronger than Zalgiris (video)
22:34 6 October, 2022In the third round of the group stage of the Conference League, Armenian champion Pyunik defeated Lithuanian champion Zalgiris (Vilnius) 2-0 at the Republican stadium.
Brazilian defender Juninho and Nigerian forward Yusuf Otubanjo scored for the Yerevan club.
Pyunik picked up its second straight victory in the Conference League. In the second round, the Yerevan club defeated Slovakian champion Slovan 2-0 at home.
In the other match of Group H, Basel will take on Slovan. The game will begin at 23:00 Yerevan time.
