German forward Leroy Sane scored a hat-trick, while German midfielder Serge Gnabry, Senegalese forward Sadio Mane and Cameroonian forward Eric Choupo-Moting contributed once apiece.
Bayern are at the top of Group C standings with 9 points, while Viktoria Plzen are in last place.
