ATP-500։ Karen Khachanov starts with victory

Russian Karen Khachanov started with a victory at the ATP-500 tournament in Astana (Kazakhstan). The world No. 18 beat American Maxime Cressy (world No. 32) 6-4, 7-6 (7-3). The match lasted one hour and 31 minutes.

In the second round, Karen Khachanov's opponent will be the winner of the match between Marin Cilic (Croatia) - Oscar Otte  (Germany).

The prize fund of the tournament in Astana is $1.9 million.
