Yerevan hosts International Boxing Association extraordinary congress

Umar Kremlev will continue to head the International Boxing Association  (IBA).

At the IBA Extraordinary Congress in Yerevan, the majority of the boxing federations of the IBA member countries voted against holding new elections.

Out of 156 IBA member countries, 146 federations participated in this vote, 36 countries voted in favor of holding new elections, 106 voted against, and four abstained.

As a result, Kremlev will continue to head the IBA for the next four years, too.
