U16 World Championships: Ohanyan defeats Azerbaijani Talibov to become second

Armenia's Emin Ohanyan defeated Azerbaijan's Shiroghlan Talibov in the 8th round of the World U16 Chess Championship in Romania. The chess player takes the second place with 6.5 points.

The leader is French player Timothe Razafindratsima with 7 points.

Mariam Mkrtchyan, RA U18 Women's World Chess Championships, played white against Ayan Alakhverdiyeva from Azerbaijan in the eighth round and won on the 35th move.
