U18 World Championships։ Mariam Mkrtchyan beats Azerbaijani to take sole lead

Armenia's Mariam Mkrtchyan defeated Azerbaijan's Ayan Allahverdiyeva in the eighth round of the U18 Women's World Chess Championship in Romania. 

Mariam Mkrtchyan won her 8th victory in a row and is at the top of the standings.
