Karen Khachanov comments on his participation in U.S. Open
19:31 12 September, 2022Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov commented on his participation in the U.S. Open that ended in New York. The Armenian tennis player reached the semifinals of the Grand Slam tournament for the first time, where he lost to Casper Ruud of Norway.
According to Khachanov the closer the title, the more painful the defeat. Nevertheless, the player will take advantage of all the positives he got in New York over the weeks.
Khachanov said it was a good competition and thanked everyone for their support. He will continue to work and follow his dream.
In the professional tennis rankings, Khachanov moved up from No. 31 to No. 18.
