Montreal Masters: World number one is eliminated after his first match

World number one Daniil Medvedev has lost at the start of the Montreal Masters.

The Russian tennis star kicked off his campaign in the Round of 32, faced Nick Kyrgios (Australia), but lost in three sets—7:6 (7:1), 4:6, 2:6. The match lasted 2 hours.

Medvedev is the winner of last year’s Montreal Masters.
