Uzbekistan to host Chess Olympics in 2026

The World Chess Olympiad of 2026 will be held in Uzbekistan (in Tashkent or Samarkand). This decision was made at the General Assembly of the International Chess Federation (FIDE).

The World Chess Olympiad in 2024 will be hosted by Budapest.
