Los Cabos: World number one starts with win (PHOTO, VIDEO)

World number one Daniil Medvedev started with a win at the ATP-250 tournament in Los Cabos. The 26-year-old Russian tennis player defeated the 23-year-old Australian Rinky Hijikata 6-4, 6-3. The match lasted 1 hour and 33 minutes.

Daniil Medvedev won his 250th career match. His next opponent will be Ricardas Berankis of Lithuania. 

The prize fund of the tournament in Los Cabos is 822 thousand dollars.
