Muhammad Ali's championship belt sold for $6.18 million

The championship belt of Olympic champion Muhammad Ali was sold at auction for $6.18 million, France Press reported.

The American boxer won this belt in 1974 by knocking out George Foreman.

The belt was bought by the owner of the Indianapolis club of the National Football League, Jim Irsay.

Muhammad Ali died in 2016.
