Lyon: Karen Khachanov starts with victory

Russian Karen Khachanov started with a win the ATP 250 tournament in Lyon.

Khachanov defeated Gilles Simon of France in the first round with 6-1, 6-4. The match lasted 1 hour and 32 minutes.

Karen Khachanov will play against Slovak Alex Molcan in the second round.

The prize fund of the tournament in Lyon is 534 thousand euros.
