Rome: Karen Khachanov reaches third round

Russia's Karen Khachanov celebrated his second victory at the Masters tournament in Rome.

Khachanov beat Pablo Carreño-Busta of Spain 6-4, 2-6, 6-1 to advance to the third round. The match lasted two hours and five minutes.

Khachanov, the world No. 24, will play against the winner of the Grigor Dimitrov (Bulgaria) - Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece) match.
