Russia loses right to host 2023 World Cup of Hockey

Russia has lost its right to host the 2023 IIHF World Championship, the press service of the International Ice Hockey Federation. The decision was made at a meeting of the IIHF Council in Zurich.

The tournament was to be held in May 2023 in St. Petersburg.
