Europa Conference League: Roma, with Mkhitaryan, are in semifinals
00:51 15 April, 2022Roma have advanced to the semifinals of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
They defeated Bodo/Glimt 4-0 in the second leg of their quarterfinal clash.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan, the former captain and midfielder of the Armenian national football team, was among the Roma starters, and he was subbed off in the 85th minute.
Roma had lost 1-2 in the first leg, but they have advanced to the next round on a 5-2 aggregate.
Their opponents in the semifinal will be Leicester City, which had eliminated PSV Eindhoven in their quarterfinals.
The other pairing in the semifinals are Marseille and Feyenoord.
The first leg of the semifinals of the Europa Conference League will be played on April 28, and the second leg—on May 5.
