Champions League: Real advance to semifinals

Real Madrid have reached the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League, eliminating last year's winners Chelsea.

Real lost 2-3 in extra time in the second leg of their quarterfinals.

Extra time was appointed, as a week ago Real had beaten Chelsea 3-1 the first leg in London.

As a result, Real have eliminated Chelsea on 5-4 aggregate.

The semifinal opponents of Real Madrid will be the winners of the Manchester City vs. Atletico Madrid pair in the quarterfinals.
