Champions League: Liverpool, Man City win

Liverpool were hosted in Lisbon by Benfica in the first leg of the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League, and the English club won 3-1.

In the other respective match of the day, reigning English Premier League champions Manchester City played host to reigning Spanish La Liga champions Atletico Madrid, and Man City won 1-0.
