Armenia's Gabriel Sargsyan and German Matthias Blübaum share first place

Armenian grandmaster Gabriel Sargsyan and German Matthias Blübaum are leading before the last round of the individual European Chess Championship taking place in Slovenia.

They have eight points each.

In the penultimate round Sargsyan defeated Azerbaijani Abdulla Gadimbayli with whites.

Samvel Ter-Sahakyan and Hayk M. Martirosyan have 7 points each and share 6th-25th place.
