Caparrós: Mkhitaryan made decision to leave on his own

"It was a luxury for me to work with Henrikh Mkhitaryan," Joaquín Caparrós, Armenia's head coach, said on the eve of the friendly match against Montenegro.

"When we chose these two opponents, we took into account that these teams are very similar in their style of play to our opponents, whom we will meet in June.

Aroyan is in good shape. He is very motivated and he trains well.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan made his own decision to leave. We all understand who he was and who he still is for the national team. Geno has his own home, and it is the Football Federation of Armenia. It was a luxury for me to work with him.

I am very happy to include new young players in our team, not forgetting our veterans. Our goal is to contribute to the growth of young players," Joaquín Caparrós said.
