Champion of England, Manchester City reached the semifinals of the FA Cup.

Manchester City beat Southampton 4-1 in the quarter-finals.

Previously, Chelsea and Crystal Palace made it to the semi-finals. The runners-up are Nottingham Forest and Liverpool.
