Messi fails to score in Champions League 1/8 finals first time in 15 years

PSG's Argentine striker Lionel Messi failed to score in the Champions League round of 16 for the first time in 15 years. 

The Paris club lost to Real Madrid (1-0, 1-3) after two games.

The last time Messi failed to score in a Champions League playoff game was in February 2007 against Liverpool (1-2, 0-1). At the time, Barcelona were eliminated.
