Kódjo Alphonse moves to Alashkert

Côte d'Ivoire midfielder Kódjo Kassé Alphonse has joined Alashkert, the Yerevan club's press office reports.

The 28-year-old midfielder is known to Armenian soccer fans for his successful matches at Ararat-Armenia.

The experienced player's previous club, who played for a number of Portuguese teams, was Kazakhstan's Taraz, where he played under Vardan Minasyan.
