Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva, 15, published her first Instagram post  since the doping scandal at the 24th Winter Olympics in Beijing.

"My first Games are finally over. I want to thank my coaches, Eteri Tutberidze, Sergei Dudakov and Daniil Gleikhengauz, who took me to the most important event in an athlete's life. You are absolute masters at what you do. In addition to training, you teach yourself how to cope, and that helps in life, too. With you I feel protected and able to overcome all trials. "Thank you for helping me to be strong," Valieva wrote.

In Beijing, Kamila Valieva became the team champion as part of the Russian national team, but the award ceremony did not take place, because after the competition it became known that the December doping sample of the athlete was positive. The Court of Arbitration allowed Valieva to participate in the singles competition. She took fourth place.
