Belgium wins gold medal at Winter Olympics for first time since 1948

Belgium also won a gold medal at the 24th Winter Olympics being held in the Chinese capital, Beijing, becoming the 22nd country to win a title at these games.

As a result, Belgium won a gold medal at the Winter Olympics for the first time since 1948.
