Champions League: Mbappé, best player of week
13:16 18 February, 2022Paris Saint-Germain striker and French world champion Kylian Mbappé has been named the best player of the week in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League 1/8 finals, according to a poll conducted on the UEFA website.
The 23-year-old scored the winning goal in extra time against Real Madrid 1-0 at home.
Other nominees were:
Bernardo Silva (Manchester City), 2 goals + 1 assist in the game against Sporting (5-0).
Mohamed Camara (Salzburg), impressive performance in midfield against Bayern Munich (1-1).
Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool), impeccable defensive play against Inter Milan (2-0).
