Manchester United played host to Brighton in their rescheduled match in the 18th round of the English Premier League, and they won 2-0.

Man United's Portuguese star striker Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first goal this year.

Manchester United (25 games) rose to fourth place, with 43 points, 2 points ahead of West Ham, which dropped to fifth place (25 games) in the current Premier League standings. Brighton (24 games) are ninth, with 33 points.
