Beijing 2022: Armenian national team finishes its performance at Olympics (PHOTOS)

The Armenian national team finished its performance at the 24th Olympic Games in Beijing. Armenia was represented at the Games by five athletes. Skier Harutyun Harutyunyan did not go to Beijing because he tested positive for coronavirus.

On last Sunday, skier Mikayel Mikayelyan took 47th place in skiathlon (15km classic style + 15km freestyle) - 1:25:53.7. On Friday he took 61st place (43:09.1) in 15km classic style race.

Armenian skier Katya Galstyan entered the race on Tuesday. The 29-year-old Armenian athlete finished 80th in the qualifying round of the sprint competition. She showed the result of 4 minutes and 48 seconds.

In the women's 10km classic style race on Thursday, Katya Galstyan (34 minutes 37.5 seconds) took 74th place, while 18-year-old Angelina Muradyan (39 minutes 43.4 seconds) placed 94th.

Dancing couple Tina Garabedian and Simon Proulx-Senecal took 18th place. In the free program Tina Garabedian and Simon Proulx-Senecal scored 167.03 points, and in the short program - 65.87 points.
