Beijing 2022: Xi Jinping declares Olympic Games open (photo)

President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping has declared the Beijing Winter Olympics open.

Armenia will be represented by six athletes. Skier Harutyun Harutyunyan has not yet left for Beijing Olympics because he was tested positive for COVID-19.

Ice dancer Tina Garabedian and skier Mikayel Mikayelyan were Armenia's standard-bearers.
